Why are Pre Boarding Evaluations Needed?
1. Because our boarding is cage free and right in our home it is not for all dogs.Before larger dogs stay for an extended period it is nessary for us to make sure they met the required behavior in order to keep a safe and stress free environment for all our vacationers.
2. It can stressful for a dog to be dropped off for a long period of time at a new place with unfamiliar people. A day spent with us here at Epic Blue Acres before a long vacation will help your dog feel comfortable in our home and feel a part of our family.They will also remember our farm is a fun place to be not somewhere he/she needs to be nervous about. Also they will remember you will return to take them home. * Due to these facts pre boarding evaluations are not required but always recommended for all size dogs*
3. Once we know how your dog reacts to sitiations and other dogs we can plan the best vacation possable for them. This is especially important for dog aggressive dogs or shy dogs. We want to make sure we have the needed space to keep them feeling safe & happy while you are away.
